Yes! The house is clean! I'm a very happy person when the house is clean. I am not quite sure why.

So the night before last I went to a wedding. This was an extremely touching experience. I am going to have to get waterproof makeup when I get married because I am just useless! I guess these one was particular special. I good friend of ours got remarried to her children's father - a family reunited. She has been through an incredibly rough year with illness and it was just so wonderful that everything came together for this one night. The weather was perfect, everyone close and special was there and she, girls and groom just looked beautiful. I have to say that I felt truely privileged to be there and I can not express the weight behind these words.

So it is the last day of 2006... and depending what day it is that is either proceeded by "at last!" or "already!". I think that I might have already listed all my achievements for the year somewhere... but I might as well do it again.

• Entered into prac three times, two on road and one in hospital
• Moved out of home (again) and in with my wonderful b/f
• Got my first real job, employed with the state ambulance service
• Succeeded in my application for a personal loan (16K later ouch!)
• Bought my first car - brand new
• Actually completed my second year of university (didn't do that last time).
• Achieved 6s and 7s in my second year results!

• Complete university
• Qualify as an Advanced Care Paramedic
• ?Achieve full shodan level in karate
• Go through another two pracs (one for six weeks and one for 13 weeks)
• Pay off the majority of my loan
• Graduate to an open licence
• Renew my mobile contract and get a new phone (hehehe - it is the small things)

I can't say that I am particularly looking forward to the year ahead... I am not sure how I am going to manage juggling uni, work, prac and karate in a way that isn't going to see my completely stressed and sleep deprived. I know I will get through it because I have to.. Things will be different after next year. In fact things will be different from now on in but it will be radically different after next year. Ah well

I guess at the point I am actually happy. I am fulfilled in all aspects and I think I am finally getting a grip on my fiery soul. I'm thinking things out a bit better and walking away more. I failed at that yesterday, forgot to be logical. I felt really bad by the end of the day and started to hate myself all over again. But to keep it in perspective, I've been getting better. In more than just aspect too. I saw the fire return but I still felt stupid... feeling less stupid these days too. But I am not becoming the person I used to be. I've moved forward. I am better.

I think that is probably a good note to finish on... so.. on to the new year!

Been a little while since I've updated. This has been from laziness and good mental health. I'm actually thinking it is a bit of a waste of space adding a new page for the three days that are left of December!

It has been a good month, though I can't believe how quickly it has gone! I have a feeling my holidays will be over before I know it. This past week I've had off karate. We have two weeks each year which are when GKR closes down and we don't have to attend classes or teach. This was a break that I have needed given how hectic this year has been. Wednesday will be along soon and it will all start up again. *sigh*

I got my uni results back a little while ago. I have to say that I'm very happy with them and I am starting to feel quite intelligent again. Was a little bit miffed that in my lowest scoring unit, I was just 1% off of getting a six. All because of the referencing... oh well... I did well with everything else so I can say the pain of the nasty semester was well worth it!

I really am running a blank of what to talk about here... Just not in the mood for writing - I'm in too much of a good mood! For one I am sleeping through the night most of the time too!

For those of you who have been long term readers (which is probably noone), you would know that I have an affinity for Eyezmaze which is a funky puzzle site. I recently decide to have a go at one of the mini puzzles called Grow Ornament. Of course, with a little work... I solved it. As usual I did a screen capture of it to show off!

Of course now it is fan mail time. An anonymous someone used the feedback form to ask me "Are you still in love with your boyfriend?". Apologise in advance for having a giggle at this... Yes, I am still in love with my boyfriend. Tuesday, 2nd January 2007 will be two years and going strong. Hope that answers your question!
